In 2013 Julia and I (Jeremiah) got married and settled in the Brockport area. A year later we started a church together (now called The Gospel, located right in the village next to SUNY Brockport). In 2021 we started The Gospel Collaborative which is a homeschool co-op that is now full of amazing families from all over the Brockport area. We started both of these organizations because we care about this community and we want to do whatever we can to support it.

In 2024 we started Thomas Trimming Landscape. We want to use this business as a way to provide another valuable service to our area and to contribute to our non-profits in order to increase their ability to serve our community.

I say all this because we love being part of this community and want to do everything that we can to help it.

With that being said, my first job as a teenager was cutting grass with a landscaping company. I got that job because I loved mowing our yard growing up and I guess word got around to the right person that needed help with his landscaping business. A few years later when I was in college I worked for another landscaping business that helped pay my way through school.

When we started our church I didn’t just become the pastor, I became the landscaper. It’s something that I enjoy doing so it naturally became part of what I do for the church. When we bought our current church location I removed all the overgrown bushes and replaced them with new shrubs and created mulch beds.
